All attending Chet's workshop will receive:

1.) Don Simmons' flyer with several 'free stuff on websites' including stock footage, audio help, video help, trainings, samples, etc. Even a few more than the one given out at MGT in Davenport this year!

2.) A color-coded laminated 'POWER KEY CHEAT SHEET' that can be hung up next to your editor and includes Chet's recent 'new code symbols' for easy viewing when you are editing!

3.) A Harddrive Master Log. This sheet is used by many to list the projects on your harddrives for easy access. The sheet can be copied for future use and can log 8 harddrives with 30 projects and other harddrive information, so YOU KNOW BEFORE YOU INSERT THE HARDDRIVE which project is where and how much room you have left on your harddrive, OS and more!

4.) The 'Making a Music Video' flyer with a DISC TRANSFER of the KRYPTONITE Music video I did, so you can simply 'insert yourself' in spots to get you started!

5.) A chance in a DRAWING for a small hand held alarm that you can attach to your equipment while on a shoot. There was recent discussion about people just 'taking your stuff' while at a shoot. This alarm will go off when your items are disturbed and your private 6 digit code will disable it.

6.) A chance in a DRAWING for a GREEN SCREEN KIT. This is a new kit that includes MANY,MANY THINGS including the green screen, web camera type camera and software.


7.) Green Screen Footage of yourself! With weather permitting, it is planned that I will ride my bike to the event and Tony and Judy have graciously offered to let us use their garage to store and set up green screen for a planned MUSIC VIDEO! If you would like GREEN SCREEN FOOTAGE OF YOURSELF, just bring your own MINI-DV TAPE and desired outfit (we will be bringing some things including wigs and such that were in Davenport) and we will shoot YOU on the motorcycle and you can EDIT YOURSELF when you get home and make your own MUSIC VIDEO. This will be done 'after class time' for two hours only.

• Audio Exercises: Lengthening Narration & Music to fit a segment,
    Filtering Specific Audio from Narration, and Creating Uniform Volume
    from Multiple Subject Interviews
• LUNCH ( will be provided by Grand Celebrations )
• DVD Authoring with Arabesk 4: Producing Great Looking DVD menu
    with Chet's album template

* Your Casablanca unit must have:
• Smart Edit 7, Smart Edit 8, or Bogart SE OS 2 active as well as the following
    2 add-on software products installed and activated (not in Demo Mode)
• Disk Transfer **
• DVD Arabesk 4
**If the absence of Disk Transfer (or the expense of purchasing it) is the obstacle keeping you from registering for this workshop - I have a remedy...
I am happy to offer to send you a miniDV tape of the workshop footage that would need to be loaded in & split prior to the workshop. This makes sense if Disk Transfer is not something you see a big need for apart from this workshop.

• Keyboard for Casablanca
• Short USB extension cable (came with Casablanca - totally optional but useful)
• USB Flash Drive (Kingston Data Traveller or PNY Attache - 2 GB or smaller)
• Power bar/Power Strip and *AC cord 5' to 10' (*optional but very helpful)
